US Players

Players wishing to tryout for a CGHA competitive team must complete the Hockey Canada Tryout Notice Form before stepping on the ice and electronically submit it to the Registrar (this must be done at least 1 week prior to first tryout date, given they must be approved by OWHA before player can attend)

In order for US players to be rostered to an OWHA team, they must request a transfer from their outgoing US team and submit it to the Registrar. If their primary residence remains in the US, this must be done on a yearly basis, regardless of whether the individual played for the CGHA during the previous season or not. Unlimited transfers can only be requested if the player has moved to Canada.
